Pig Pickin’ and Politickin’
Mix, mingle, and get to know your elected officials and candidates for office from the Federal level all the way down to local City Council members and Board of Supervisors. This is an opportunity to discuss issues that matter to you personally, with those that are setting state, regional, and local policy. (This is NOT a partisan event, but an opportunity to connect with those that represent us.)
Farming in the Valley
Farming in the Valley is a family friendly festival geared toward children’s education in agriculture. Agriculture is a significant part of our culture in the Greater Augusta region and we want kids to learn what exactly that means through hands on activities like a petting zoo, sheep herding demonstrations, apple butter churning, a corn maze, reading time with Cubbie Bear, and a pedal pull. The festival also includes vendors with local produce and products!
