  • The Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a 501(c)(3) support organization of the Chamber that serves Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County with a mission focused on initiatives in the areas of education, workforce development, quality of life and community development.

The Chamber Scholarship Program is intended to provide monetary assistance to students as they enter their career development journey whether that be a certification program or a four-year degree.

  • High School seniors have many options to continue their education once they graduate, and the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation has the opportunity to help! Over the last 12 years, the Chamber Foundation, through the generous contributions of member businesses and community leaders, has awarded over $225,000 in scholarships to our local students to help them achieve the first step on their career path.

With the rising costs of education, we truly believe that we are providing a helping hand to students who are furthering their education. These scholarship investments are an investment in our future workforce! The Scholarships can be used for vocational or technical school, credentialing programs, or a two or four-year college.

Students must be enrolled as a senior at a public or private school located in Augusta County, the City of Staunton, or the City of Waynesboro, or be homeschooled in one of those localities.

If awarded, students will be expected to come to the GARCC office once during the time period of April 22-24 to receive their award.

Before the scholarship can be paid out, students must provide one of the following:

    • Provide evidence of an intent to enroll in a university, community college, other institution or certification program by providing an acceptance letter and class schedule. OR
    • Letter of employment listing job title and start date from an employer alongside a list of required personal tools/equipment necessary for the job.
    • All Academic Achiever Scholarships must be claimed by January 31, 2025. Scholarships can be used for Summer 2024, Fall 2024 or Spring 2025.

Scholarship Application deadline will be Friday, March 29th.
