City of Staunton

Leslie Beauregard joined the City of Staunton in October of 2019 as Assistant City Manager,  She was appointed Interim City Manager in February of 2022. She is an International City/County Management Association Credentialed Manager since 2020. 

Leslie served as Director of Budget and Performance Management for the City of Charlottesville for 12 years before becoming an assistant city manager in 2015.  In previous roles in government, Beauregard served in various budget and management analyst roles of increasing responsibility for the City of Hampton, following an internship in the City Manager's Office for the City of Williamsburg while earning her MPA at the Center for Public Administration and Policy at Virginia Tech.  She is a member of the International City/County Management Association, the Virginia Local Government Management Association and the Government Finance Officers Association.
